Glove Box

Labline 1200 Glove-box designed explicitly for battery fabrication.

The unit is maintained with a UHP Argon inner atmosphere controlled using an automated SIEMENS PLC controller connected to a touchscreen display.

The system is equipped with several gas purification units, filters, and organic solvent trappers for proper functioning and maintaining moisture and oxygen levels > 1ppm

Hydraulic Coin Cell Crimper

Hydraulic Coin Cell Crimping Machine for sealing  CR2032, CR2025, and CR2016 type coin cells. 

The system is also equipped with an additional decrimping die to open the cycled cells for effectively carrying out the post-cycling characterizations.

16-Channel Battery Cycler

Battery testing unit capable of galvanostatic/potentiostatic cycling under three current ranges: Range1: 5μA-1mA; Range2: 1mA-25mA; Range3: 25mA-50mA with a working potential window of +5 V to - 5 V.

PalmSens3

PalmSens3 is a USB and battery-powered Potentiostat, Galvanostat, and Frequency Response Analyser (FRA) for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). The PalmSens3 has a sizeable potential range (-5V to 5V or -10V to 10V) and current range (100 pA to 10 mA) with a high resolution and low noise. The economical PalmSens3 is a complete laboratory instrument, but its compact and rugged design makes it also ideal for fieldwork. Connecting via Bluetooth guarantees a perfectly floating measurement.

PG-Lyte

PG-Lyte 1.0 is a high-end Potentiostat/Galvanostat, capable of performing many important electroanalytical techniques for physical electrochemistry, nanotechnology, corrosion, sensor, and battery research. This instrument is quite suitable for measurements in both the aqueous and non-aqueous systems. It is sensitive enough to record electrical signals in the nano ampere range.

Split Tube Furnace (Programmable)

The split tube furnace is a staple for academic institutions and R&D applications, consisting of a hinged frame that opens in two for easy access to the inner chamber. It consists of a circular furnace wall made of high-temperature ceramic, either of a solid cylindrical element or of two semi-cylindrical elements that close and form a single void. Reluctant heating coils or strips are inserted into the ceramic to surround the central chamber with evenly spaced heating elements. Such an architecture ensures the best possible thermal uniformity when processing both inorganic and organic compounds.

Muffle Furnace (Programmable)

Lightweight with ceramic Fiber wool insulation (instead of Brick insulation). The outer casing is made of a double-walled thick P.C.R.C. sheet. Backed by Zirconia cere-wool insulation, which avoids loss of energy, this arrangement also assures the most uniform distribution of heat. The weight & size of the furnace is of one quarter and 30%, respectively as compared to Bricks Furnace. A viewing cap is also provided on the door. The temperature of the furnace is controlled by a microprocessor-based PID controller, with a soft-touch keypad and dual display of process & set temperature. The overshoot & undershoot of temp. variation is drastically reduced compared to a normal ON / OFF type controlled furnace.

Hot Air Oven

In this system, there is one path of circulating Hot Air in-between the inner chamber and the insulation. Forced Air Moved by the motorized blower is called a PERFECT SYSTEM. It results in minimum temperature variation at any point in the working space. Temperature controlled by Microprocessor PID Digital Indicator Cum Controller from 50 degrees celsius to 350 degrees Celcius with a sensitivity of  ± 2 degrees Celcius or better. The working chamber is made of Stainless Steel, and out side made of mild steel, finished with attractive powder coating with wire mesh nickel-plated trays (2No.). To work on 220/230 Volts A.C.
